Our
guesthouse has eight rooms for your stay. Each of them has its own color and style, but all of
them bring back memories from the old times. Most of the furniture is either
hand made from local craftsmen or restored, old original pieces. The curtains are hand made and they
have the same design like the ones that the housewives were using during 18th
century!
Comfort and
coziness are the feelings that our rooms are reviling...
The neighborhood that our hotel is located is so special that the Greek Government characterized it as an “Area of Historic Preservation”!
The area since Ottoman Empire was named Varosi, identifying it as the christians district! Today all buildings of Varosi area are preserving their original architectural characteristics and reveal memories from the past.
So do not miss the chance and visit Varosi area in Edessa! Walk on the paved alleys, explore Varori and of course enjoy your staying in our traditional guesthouse!
Our guesthouse's size is limited, because it is a renovated traditional house so we can only offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our two lounges, a cafe / bar where we also offer home made aperitifs, and a lovely veranda for warm nights!
Our rooms offer many modern amenities, like private bathroom, air-condition, indepentant heating, telephone, TV and daily housekeeping.
Caring for destination
You will have the unique experience of staying in a guesthouse that looks exactly like an 100 years old Naousa house: The external follows the lines of the typical Macedonian Mansions, with the characteristic "hayati" on the first floor, while in the interior you will feel like you have traveled in time, as the furniture is either original old pieces or replicas made from local craftsmen to look like old.... Details like the handmaid curtains and clothes comlpete our effort to preserve our local architecture and customs.
Another area we really care about is local recepies, and for this reason we offer a variety of homemade pies, marmelades, sweets and aperitifs to our guests, in our effort to share this tastes we grow up with.
